Separate recorded charges and rebates from reported net P&L without subtracting costs twice.
- 1Select the accounts. Choose an account or group. Compare account, exchange and setup breakdowns. Different currencies cannot be silently combined.
- 2Read the accounting basis. Reported net P&L is the journal's source result. Stored fees are recorded values, not a guarantee that every funding or execution cost was supplied. Unknown costs are not zero.
- 3Add actual cost evidence. Open Record supplemental cost evidence for an owned trade. Enter a Signed amount, the Accounting basis and a Source / statement reference. Use the form's charge/rebate sign convention and declare whether the cost is already included in reported net.
- 4Inspect the updated breakdown. Save cost evidence. Check the source and coverage labels. Included costs are not subtracted again, and the reported trade result remains unchanged. A partial reconstruction is not verified gross profit.
