FAQ

How are futures fees calculated?
Fee = notional value × fee rate, charged when you open and again when you close. A $10,000 position with a 0.05% taker fee costs $5 to open and about $5 to close.
What is the difference between maker and taker?
A maker order (a limit order that rests on the book) adds liquidity and pays the lower rate. A taker order (market order or a limit that fills at once) removes liquidity and pays more.
Does leverage increase fees?
Fees are charged on the full notional, not your margin. With 20× leverage a 0.1% round trip costs 2% of the margin you put up.
How is funding estimated?
Notional × funding rate × number of funding periods you hold. Positive funding means longs pay shorts. Rates change at every settlement, so check the live funding tracker.
