- 1Open Backtester and pick a playbook or a preset.
- 2Build the rules: entries (EMA cross, price vs EMA, RSI, breakouts), filters (session, weekdays) and exits (ATR, % or swing stop, R target, time limit). Or describe them in words and let the AI convert them for you to review.
- 3Choose the exchange, symbol, timeframe and date range, then risk per trade, fees and slippage.
- 4Press Run. Every run is saved, and the last 30 are kept.
How fills work
- Signals are read on a closed candle and filled at the next candle's open, plus slippage. No lookahead.
- One position at a time. If a candle touches both stop and target, the stop counts.
- A gap through the stop fills at the open. Fees are charged on both sides.
Results include net R and %, win rate, expectancy, profit factor, max drawdown, an equity curve, a monthly table and the trade list, plus your live results with that playbook for comparison.
Backtests are hypothetical. Past results don't guarantee future ones.
Limits: 40 runs and 10 AI rule conversions a day, up to 20,000 candles per run.
