Daily loss
A cap on how much you can lose in one trading day. Some firms measure it from the starting balance, others from the balance when the day resets. Flowsense supports both, and a fixed reset time in UTC.
Static, trailing and end-of-day drawdown
The max drawdown is the floor your account must stay above.
- Static: fixed below the starting balance and never moves.
- Trailing: follows your highest balance up, usually until it reaches the starting balance.
- End-of-day trailing: follows your highest end-of-day balance instead of intraday highs.

Pick a typical format as a starting point (they're typical rules, not any named firm's) and adjust every number to your firm. Exchange-synced accounts include open positions, and the Trade Desk can refuse orders once a rule is breached.

Questions
- Are the presets a specific firm's rules?
- No. They're typical formats to start from. Always copy the exact numbers from your firm's rulebook.
- Do open positions count?
- For accounts synced from an exchange, yes: unrealised profit and loss counts toward the daily and drawdown limits. For manual accounts, you can type your equity.
