Turn a Coach insight into a trial
Freeze a measurable hypothesis and compare a prospective trading sample.
Freeze a measurable hypothesis and compare a prospective trading sample.
- 1Write one hypothesis. Paste a Coach insight or describe one behavior to test. For example: record positive risk before each trade. Keep the question specific enough to measure.
- 2Choose scope and measurement. Select owned accounts, an optional setup, a supported process rule and the next 5–100 trades. Recorded positive risk and completed recorded checklists are measurable; free text alone cannot prove adherence.
- 3Activate and collect later evidence. Select Activate experiment. The baseline and activation are frozen. Qualifying new records with later entries form the first-N cohort and can contribute process evidence. P&L and R include only exits completed by the observation time; future exits do not count as closed results. Earlier entries do not enter the trial.
- 4Review and finish. Compare Frozen baseline and Trial adherence, sample size, unknown coverage and recorded results. Complete trial or Pause trial ends and freezes it; start another trial to test again. These are descriptive observations, not proof that the rule caused a profit change. If an account currency change invalidates a trial, retire it and start a new one.
