Import trades from a CSV file

Upload exports from Binance, Bybit, MEXC, MetaTrader or TradingView, or map any CSV yourself.

Updated 2 min readAlso available in Português, Español, Français, Deutsch, Türkçe, Tiếng Việt, Bahasa Indonesia

Flowsense recognises the export format automatically and shows a preview before anything is saved. Importing the same file twice is safe: trades already in the account are skipped.

Where to export from

PlatformExport pathNotes
BinanceOrders → Futures Orders → Trade History → pick a range → ExportFills are paired into round trips, fees netted
BybitOrders → Derivatives → Closed P&L → Export → CSV
MEXCFutures → Orders → Position History → Export
MetaTrader 4 / 5History tab → right-click → Report → save as CSVCommission and swap are added into each trade
TradingViewStrategy Tester → List of trades → Export data

Import

  1. 1Open Import and pick the account to import into.
  2. 2Drop your CSV file (up to 5 MB) on the upload area.
  3. 3Check the preview: the detected platform and the trades that will be imported.
  4. 4Press Import. The trades appear on your dashboard straight away.

Other broker? Choose Custom mapping and tell Flowsense which column is the symbol, side, prices, times, size, fees and P&L.

On the Free plan, imports count towards your 30 trades a month. When a file has more than you have left, the most recent trades are kept.

Questions

Fewer trades were imported than rows in my file.
Fills of the same position are paired into one round-trip trade, open positions are left out, and trades already in the account are skipped.
My platform isn't listed.
Use Custom mapping, try a screenshot, or log a trade by hand with Add trade on the Trades page.
My timezone looks off.
Exports use the exchange's time. Check your timezone in Settings; it only changes how days and hours are displayed.
